Our in-house steaming system offers a unique procedure to improve your product – green coffee! In a completely natural process, your green coffee – both Arabica and Robusta – is refined into a semi-finished product without the use of any chemical additives.
The refinement of your green coffee is only carried out using pure steam at elevated temperatures and elevated pressure. The water is extracted from our own 330-meter-deep well and is then converted into steam in our boiler house.
Arabica coffee tastes milder after this treatment and the follow-up roasting process. Certain irritants can be reduced, bad flavors can be removed, and older coffees can be refreshed. After the treatment and subsequent roasting, Robusta coffee tastes milder and smoother, leaving the coffee in the cup without the typically bitter Robusta taste.
